Every mom deserves to be celebrated on Mother’s Day. But this year, the mothers detained at the Dilley ICE facility with their children won’t be able to celebrate in the way they deserve.
They are moms who were taken while dutifully attending immigration appointments, on the way to Disney World, at the laundromat, on the way to school. Most of them have built a life and raised their children here.
